About Lanen Africa

Born from experience.
Built around opportunity.

Lanen Africa began taking shape with its maiden concept in August 2024, growing from years of firsthand experience in international education, travel, academic networks, and professional environments.

2024

Where the journey began.

A company shaped by real international experience.

Lanen Africa was born from the experience of its founders, who have travelled extensively and developed a practical understanding of education, work and professional opportunities across the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Greece and Dubai.

Their experience extends beyond travel. They have engaged with leading public universities in Kenya, sat in academic and institutional boardrooms, worked alongside academics and professionals, and developed a close understanding of the country's education, employment and wider professional landscape.

That experience led to a simple observation: talented people often have the ambition to move internationally, but not always the information, strategy or practical support needed to identify the right opportunity and pursue it effectively.

Our belief

Opportunity is rarely accidental.

The strongest international journeys often begin with better questions: Which country? Which institution? Which programme? Which supervisor? Which route?

Our role

Bring clarity to the next move.

We help people understand the landscape, identify the right opportunities and prepare to approach them with purpose.

Case study

When a visa refusal isn't the end of the journey.

An academic preparing for Germany had encountered a visa refusal. After being referred to our team, we helped review the situation, identify additional documentation and prepare a structured appeal. The appeal was successful and the visa was subsequently granted.

Another recent experience: an academic preparing for professional travel to Germany approached us for visa application support. We helped organise the documentation and prepare the application before biometrics; the visa was subsequently issued approximately one and a half weeks after biometrics.
